The imagery of your own Strength card leapt out at me! The prickly pear cactus is a symbol of the Palestinian people. The plant is called ‘Sabr’ in Arabic, and the word itself means patience, endurance and perseverance. Perfect.

This was great! I‘m also adopting „for reasons that satisfy myself“ as a catchphrase- thank you for that. I think Fiona Apple is referencing a concept that Rick Hanson explores in depth in his book Hardwiring Happiness. It‘s excellent and goes into the neuroscience and practical application of getting positive experiences to stick in our minds

Ahh! Thank you for the additional context 💙

"For reasons which satisfy myself..." that's a pretty useful phrase for a number of situations right now and not just the Strength/Justice conversation. But while we are talking about it, another reason Justice at 11 makes sense to me as an odd rather than even number (esp when working with RWS and clones) is that the 'justice system' requires the scales to tip one way or the other in order to function. Thank you for the insights and the 'nuggets' that you share with us 🙏 and, of course, thank you for the Spacious Tarot 🙌

Thank you for this powerful, beautiful sharing. I especially connected with your description of flowers blooming on the cactus, a thing can be both thorny and beautiful. And with your reflection on the face of the woman in the RWS card being one of acceptance. I thought of Aaron Bushnell's recent self-immolation, and feeling overwhelmed and bewildered trying to contemplate and absorb his act, which may be part of the point. Strength, justice, and acceptance seem connected and I'm grateful for your insights!

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts! You know, I thought of Aaron Bushnell several times as I wrote this but wasn't ready to fully make a connection. I'm glad you mentioned him here.
