I have long been a fan of the spacious tarot and am very grateful to be able to follow your art and your insights here now. Thank you for this timely message. I write about these kinds of things in my monthly numerology newsletter, and it has come to be a little bit exhausting these these past couple of years. But, as you've expressed, it's more important now than ever to pursue things like art, creativity, joy, etc., the whole spectrum of life as these are the things that will carry us through, and these are the things that give us back our power.

My oracle cards this week are telling me something similar, but I hadn't yet made the connection to The Magician and all they offer. Thanks for the nudge.

OK, I'm going to be bold and tell you that my friend Melissa and I are your friends. We read (and save!) your postings and we have your precious Tarot deck that is IT for me. Thank you for your thoughts and your readings--always so meaningful for me. I agree, Carrie, that maybe the best we can do is keep our small hearth going and extend love and good deeds to all those around us. Best, Sally

Dear Carrie, Yes, we all need to connect to wildness and creativity. And yes, I feel like a friend, if only connected online and through your amazing Spacious Tarot, which continues to inspire me. I'm a writer, poet, and artist, and I think your wanting to -re-connect with your creativity makes sense. There is always a pause, a lull, a time when you wonder, "will the well every fill back up?" It will. What you've achieved in the Spacious Tarot is a masterpiece, and you're only 40! Writing poetry in response to different artists' visions of the cards has become part of my practice, and has also led to different, more intuitive and healing types of readings. I've just started a YouTube channel, The Poetry of Tarot, in which I look at the Tarot as a poet, share poems inspired by different cards, and talk, sometimes very politically, because how do we not with all that is going on? I'm currently doing a series on the Major Arcana and hope you will check it out. I think we are both interested in the deep, intuitive, spiritual places that Tarot can bring us. I respond to several cards from the Spacious Tarot, including the Empress and Emperor and Hermit. My channel is The Poetry of Tarot, and you can also find me here on Substack.
